The purpose of the Secretariat of Economic Development of the State of Hidalgo is to promote the creation of more and better jobs for the benefit of Hidalgo families, through a comprehensive strategy based on the creation of a favorable environment for business, the strengthening of existing economic activity , the promotion of new local, national and foreign investments, and the promotion of entrepreneurship, innovation and development of new strategic sectors; based on the coordination of actions for sustainable development and the co-responsible participation of the public, social and private sectors, through the design, implementation, execution and evaluation of development programs and policies for the productive sectors and regions of the State.
